  I was referred to Travel Lifestyles by a childhood friend. She spoke very highly of her travel agent so I thought he would be a good help to us for our destination wedding that was set for September 2016. I was not very familiar with traveling abroad, nor had I ever been married or planned a wedding before. Unfortunately it seems as though instead being sympathetic to the customer, the travel agent used this to his advantage. He quoted us and our guest a price for the transportation in a written email, then charged a higher fee than what he had quoted himself in writing. To make matters worse he also charged different guests of our wedding different prices for the exact same transportation to the exact same resort! In addition he took payments from 4 of our guests for their stay at the designated resort but never included them on any of the spreadsheets with the guest list. These people trusted that because he was our designated travel agent that he was being honest and responsible enough to follow through with their travel confirmations. According to the transportation company LOMAS TRAVEL, he also told them that my husband & I ( the bride & groom) had not paid for our return transportation to the airport upon our departing the resort to the airport. As a result, we had to RE-PAY for our transportation to get to the airport to go home and we ALMOST missed our flight as we had been told upon arrival at the resort that our transportation (round trip) had been confirmed and paid for. This same travel agent also would take payments from my guests, process their credit cards and not provide them with an emailed receipt as promised until they called him the next day or two to ask for their receipt that they had not received ( but the funds were already taken from their bank accounts). He also was extremely slow to follow up or never did when he would say he was sending us something. My husband & I are already planning for our 1 year anniversary trip for next year but we agreed that we will NEVER use this travel agent again. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone I know to use him either!!!!
