    Airfrance's lack of customer support almost ruined my vacation, but thankfully I know better than to trust this airline ever again. They have surely lost me as a customer and I will never again fly with them. Now, i hope you are comfortable, this story is long and annoying. April 6th 2017 I flew airfrance with some friends to Paris. I was to fly to Manchester, Uk after our arrival. We arrived at 815am and my flight was scheduled to leave CDG at 10. I wanted to get my luggage myself, recheck it and be on my way. At 9:15, I was still in the customs line and realized I would miss my flight if I stayed there. I walked over to the airfrance transfer desk and the nice lady behind the counter told me not to worry that she will put a note in the system so the luggage will be sent to Manchester. She also told me that if the flight was missed I would have to pay for another. This made sense to me and i procceeded to the gate. When we made it to Manchester at 10:30am there was no bag so I started a report. They told me I would get my bag later that afternoon. Five hour later no bag, no call, no info I called airfrance who told me they could not help me bc my last flight was with flybe. I explained however, that fly be never actually got my bag. I called again and a different person answered, she was able to tell me that the bag seems have been at CDG and that she would call me back with more info, never heard from her again. Next day in the morning I called the airport to find out about my bag and they tell me i should call airfrance. Called them and once again they did not know anything. When we got to the airport i inquire with fly be and they tell me airfrance has my lugagge at charles the gulle and they will send a message to keep it there since I'm scheduled to arrive there later that evening. At this point i have been without my luggage two days, but i only buy a sweater because there is no reason for me not to get my luggagge at CDG (so naive, so wrong ). I arrive at CDG 5pm Friday and proceed to baggage info for airfrance. People there were horrible, no kind of customer service once or ever. They wouldnt even give out their names. The news i was given? My bag is now in Manchester!! Why?! Because this airline is horrible and noone cares about helping anyone. One lady even told me she did not have a magic stick to get my bag to me. So rude, i was in disbelief. I made another report and they dismissed me with a small toiletry bag. This was day three. Day four no communication once or ever, so I called my insurance company. They try to get airfrance to send my luggage back to Paris, but somehow it is now delivered to the residence I was staying in Manchester. I am still in Paris. Had to buy clothes and shoes and my luggage is in another country. At this point I think my insurance company will take over the retrieval and delivery of my luggage to the U.S. I leave here Monday and believe it or not, not a single person at airfrance offered me any apologies or even show a little concern about what was happening... But be advised that Airfrance has lost me as a customer. I will never buy another ticket from them, ever again.
